Hawaii Island LGBTQ Presents the 4th annual Hilo Town Haunt.
After last year’s drive through we are going to go back to Walking Haunt On The Sidewalk, with costumed people giving out trick or treats, taking selfies and enjoying LGBTQ favorite holiday. Like all of our events, all in the community are welcome
Our Beasties and Ghosties will be giving out goodies and posing on one block of Haili Street, between Kamehameha and Keawe. Parking should be available at the Mo’oheau/Bus Terminal parking lot.
We will have safety protocols, that we ask everyone to follow:
wear face masks
stay in small groups
maintain appropriate social distance
and stay home if you are feeling sick
We know that these practices, as well as good vaccination numbers, have helped our community to slow the spread in the last few months, and we wish to continue that trend. This is an outdoor event so we hope that the Covid risks will be low.
We are still welcoming volunteers who would like to dress up and add to the fun, text or call Greg Lupton at 323 788 7626.
